@jflier @60Minutes Which specific results won't deliver? That the gene therapies mentioned for dogs won't make it through ongoing veterinary clinical trials? That human organoids won't be used for any drug testing? ...

This lab does outstanding research, and has done so for many years. I suspect this @60Minutes story weakens the public face of research, by its choice of topics and allowing the faulty impression that the research discussed is likely to deliver specific results to the public.
