@BerkleyStevens_ That’s a fantastic point! Suarez is a great middle of the rotation guy stats wise, my biggest concern even if he signed with the Braves is if his stuff is going to play for more than a couple years

@jacetheace08 The lack of a no-trade clause did that deal in. Very poor from the Red Sox on that one. Suarez as a 2/3 is great. He’s no number 1 ace, but that is already covered in Crochet

The Red Sox's first signing of the winter is a big one -- $130 million for Ranger Suárez -- and gives them a ton of rotation depth with Garrett Crochet, Sonny Gray, Brayan Bello and others. Boston now will turn to adding another bat to its lineup, but that rotation is excellent.

The #Dodgers pay and players notice. Red Sox wouldn’t pay Mookie Betts, the Dodgers traded for him and paid him. Braves chose Matt Olson over Freddie Freeman, Dodgers paid Freddie. Angels let Ohtani walk, he chose L.A. Rays wouldn’t pay Glasnow, Dodgers traded for and paid him. Teoscar bet on himself, Dodgers rewarded him after a title & a new deal. Yamamoto signed to play with Ohtani. Snell is chasing a ring, and joined the Dodgers. Roki Sasaki picked them for their culture and innovation. The Dodgers don’t just spend, they attract.

Well, I basically have heard it from Acuña himself. And he’s FAR from the only person who calls Olson a great leader. Ozzie, Sale, Baldwin, Harris, Strider, Snitker. The list goes on and on man. You can love Freddie Freeman. That’s okay, we all do. But ignoring what is abundantly clear about Olson is just unfair to a guy who does literally everything his body will physically allow him to do every single day for this organization.
