Should be compulsory in the NRL, if you lay down for high contact to get a penalty a mandatory HIA needs to happen.

If there is all these shoulder charges and contact with the head why doesn’t the ball carrier go for a HIA if the contact is as bad as they are saying ???

@dunc56 @crux_richard On the current screen shot custs shoulders already at fullbacks head height without leaving the ground?? Fullback falling?? But I guess you have a great ability to sprint, compete for a ball and then in 0.5 seconds stop, pull out and avoid collisions

@crux_richard The collision would have been. However he wouldn’t have text the floor without the ball hitting the full back in his head with his shoulder.

Protect himself. Cust left the ground to smash him with the shoulder. Don’t think he’s was “bracing himself”
