@coachwwest All Head Coaches and assistant coaches in all sports are under paid. Doesn’t matter the sport. Also might want to a take deep dive into other sports and see what the HC and assistant coaches do.

The average high school head football coach stipend is around $7,000. Fluctuating heavily For that, they’re expected to coach year-round, run a program, mentor kids, manage parents, recruit their own halls, fundraise, break down film, coordinate staffs, and be available almost 24/7. Football coaches are grossly underpaid for what we ask of them.

@adamtirapelle What I ve seen at the open has been good calls. What I ve seen locally has been a ton of bad and inconsistent calls. Also, the step out plus one has seem to go away as call. As I have seen a ton of refs not make that call or jumping out of bounds.

I love the new grounding rule in freestyle. Such a change in dynamics and match flow.

@Mike_Triscaro @JoshMLowe Might try to use it to had guys to the roster or use it to trade up. We need a WR at 24. LB in rd 2. TE in rd 3 or 4 along with DL help and a Guard, and S at some point.

@kjpilcher I agree that ASU needs to add a program. I think the CA, OR, WA states need it because of the level of the high school girls in those states. We do need Oklahoma to jump on board with Okie State as well for D1 women’s programs.

I knew I would miss something. Was told Kent State and Mercyhurst also have added women's wrestling. Looked it up and Mercyhurst will begin competition for 2026-27 season, while Kent State will also start competing in 2027-28, like ISU.
