God this really sucks. Horizon Chase Turbo is one of the best arcade racers of the decade and the sequel really lost the magic. Made by a lot of the folks responsible for the legendary Top Gear series. Please grab this while you can. I particularly recommend it on Switch.

@CrimsonDesert_ Why apologize? AI, in one form or another, will be in every single video game. I don't get why devs feel the need to bend over for the few folks who can't accept the reality that AI will be in every single thing - from video games to your fridge (it already is). Man up.

We would like to address questions regarding the use of AI in Crimson Desert. During development, some 2D visual props were created as part of early-stage iteration using experimental AI generative tools. These assets helped us rapidly explore tone and atmosphere in the earlier phases of production. However, our intention has always been for any such assets to be replaced, following final work and review by our art and development teams, with work that aligned with our quality standards and creative direction. Following reports from our community, we have identified that some of these assets were unintentionally included in the final release. This is not in line with our internal standards, and we take full responsibility for it. We also acknowledge that we should have clearly disclosed our use of AI. While these tools were primarily used during early production, with the expectation that these assets would be replaced prior to release, we recognize that this does not excuse the lack of transparency. We sincerely apologize for these oversights. We are currently conducting a comprehensive audit of all in-game assets and are taking steps to replace any affected content. Updated assets will be rolled out in upcoming patches. In parallel, we are reviewing and strengthening our internal processes to ensure greater transparency and consistency in how we communicate with players moving forward.

Everyone knows the Ysbryd Games portfolio is known for stylish, esoteric, creative visuals, and this ends today.

I’m really rooting for Starbites, I hope it turns out nice. Enjoyed what I played at a press demo last year quite a lot. Feels like an RPG straight out of the PS2 library.

Very fun FMV cutscenes admittedly, which I think will still carry me through to the credits.

Sadly not digging Starship Troopers: Ultimate Bug War. Not a boomer shooter, but more of an ugly 2000s FPS with dull gunplay, turret sections, and big, empty maps with boring objectives sprinkled about. Lots of technical issues as well, particularly in the audio as shown here.

No Crimson Desert review from me yet. exploration is incredible BUT … i dislike the combat quite a bit. it’s not bad. but it plays like the Assassins Creed RPG era of slashing a guy 5-6 times before doing a finisher, with loose dodges and rolls and plastic feeling defense

@HeyLGros @CRTpixels If I wanted visibility I’d post the same stuff that got me a large following in the first place. I’m sure most would rather see that, but I think this is more important right now. Also, I can hate AI and the criminals running my country who love it at the same time.

@CRTpixels You're want to farm this to get the visibility aren't you. All this over a free feature that you don't have to turn on. Imagine if you put that much energy being outrage at the criminal running your country.
