"All Soldier Boy talks about is drugs and sex" yes, that's the point. That's all he has. He's got no friends, his only family is Homelander, and he deeply hates himself. He tries to mask that with his swashbuckling Marlboro Man act that quickly wears thin for everyone around him.

They really didn’t catch that magic in the bottle like they did with S1, S2, & S3.
Especially S3. S5 is not a terrible season, just super underwhelming. S4 takes the title at being the worst, but it did have some good aspects.
Only thing that feels worth is EP.8 at this point.

They don’t dislike anything, they love everything… Whatever you put in front of them, they treat it like it’s the most amazing thing in the world. They never have their own opinions, never…and TV producers target people like this and end up making embarrassingly bad shows
