There’s a difference between being bent and playing the handicap system.
Was Saratoga bent? Mark Walsh didn’t touch him in 3 Juvenile runs and he improves 20lb at Cheltenham.
If Supremely West was bent, so was every Pertemps winner of the last 10 years.

@joshtoole91 Look at the welsh champion hurdles and the trials day races. Literally nothing has gotten a 7 or 8lb rise for winning a big handicap. That's standard in Ireland

Irish horses have been absolutely mangled by the handicappers this week.
Issue being British horses are being lowered faster and not being out up as much as the Irish ones for similar performances. And that's before the tax.
British handicappers would be mad to skip Punchestown
