@jackdobrien Sure. We need to learn to wrestle with, question and negotiate with the Bible in the same way Jacob, Moses and Abraham dude with God. We need to question the literary form of the various books. We need to question if we’re reading God’s words or the authors … etc etc

I am not an expert on trans issues, and like you, I have endless empathy for individuals facing them. However, I am confident that children are not able to make irreversible surgical and hormonal decisions in their teen and pre-teen years. I’ve never met a parent who thought children should make these decisions, but I have met several parents who felt bullied and pressured into making them. The stories of young adults de-transitioning are starting.. and they are tragic. I hope these young adults find justice and peace. 🙏🏼
