@JFirestaff This is $10,000 off the back of educated American citizens who are the backbone of society and will benefit the country in many years to come. People shouldn't have debt for taking the paths their parents, grandparents, and many before them took.

@JFirestaff (2) This is a problem that shouldn't be seen on the surface level. It's a problem with America as a whole; we don't pay our important and necessary workers enough despite charging large amounts for degrees. Long term the money will go back into the economy which is beneficial.

@JFirestaff Although that does seem logical, people shouldn't suffer debt due to the pursuit of education in a degree that has low pay. For example, teachers on average make a salary of $61,000. They, on average, have $50,000 in student loan debt just by getting their master's degree (1)
