turns out all my opinions were from using codex

I have to say, Claude Code Desktop is getting better. All the bugs I tweet about seem to disappear within days. So I'm going to keep tweeting them. Maybe Claude is listening.
The `@ file` syntax has gotten better, but the CLI one is still more reliable. Eg typing `@ /example/path/` today listed a bunch of files from that folder but it should match the folder itself as the top level thing every time!
This is important because it's how I can differentiate between a directory path/ and a file path .md or path .py etc.

Claude Desktop is improving but still unsettling bugs
1. Bypass permissions checked but it's still asking me for permissions blocking my workflows
2. When i switch away from a session and come back it looks like it's not working initially (no animated claude logo) - takes a few seconds for it to appear

@krishnanrohit Facts. I’m still on Claude for this reason. Maybe I’m just dense but Claude is a better explainer rn.

GPT 5.4 is very good, but its most distinguishing characteristic is its humanity. 5.3 Codex was already incredible at coding so it's interesting to see what made it so much more successful.
People claim they want a 10x autist savant coder, but what they want is personality.

gpt-5.4 has ramped faster than any other model we've launched in the API: within a week of launch, 5T tokens per day, handling more volume than our entire API one year ago, and reaching an annualized run rate of $1B in net-new revenue. it's a good model, try it out!

Anthropic has doubled our Claude usage. It only applies during the hours conventionally reserved for sleeping, or recovering from using Claude all day.

Seems kinda nice. I have a Notion db the team can add skills to. The agent syncs these skills. Even displays to the user which skills are there and link to notion!

Jack Hodkinson@jackhodkinson93
If you self host Claude Agent SDK in your company for non-devs, how do you allow teams to collaborate on skills and sync to the agent? I'm looking at using Notion for this.

@jackhodkinson93 @xpasky Since when? How do you define dependencies?
