she reads me a book every night and I talk along. she picks me up when I hurt myself and makes me feel better. she takes me on journeys

she feeds me the food I like and lets me play with the cat. she tosses me in the air and catches me (I don't think she ever really lets go)

she sings songs to me and tells me she loves me every day. She's the best Mommy I could ever ask for.

and it's not easy because Daddy is sick. he only comes out of the bedroom for food and water.

I miss playing with Daddy. But he should be feeling better soon.

he's got a cough. I hope I don't get a cough.

btw, I'm really into flexing my muscles and grunting. I wonder if that means I'm going to be a weightlifter. I hear they drink shakes.

I took my first official steps tonight -- my mom moved my car driving toy, so I had to go get it. She was very excited.

So I have this book, it's called, "That's not my truck." And I have to say, "That's MY BOOK." It's awesome.

Have you ever had your temperature taken from your ears? Mommy uses some electronic thing and it feels soooooo cool.

Once I start walking for real, I'm going to finally get that remote control back in my grasp. No more babytv for me!

I'm like, "Hey, I got this."

I think I might want to walk soon. It's awesome walking with my red flyer cart. But it's not cool when my folks try to help me out.

I had such a great time at my bday party --- just about everyone showed up. There were pirates, treasure and gifts!

Gearing up for my Birthday Party on Sunday! Yo ho Yo ho it's my bday!

Today is my first Birthday! HOOOOOOOOORAY. A year ago today I was drinking milk, peeing and pooping. Today, I'm doing the same thing.

I also taught myself how to snap. So now I can do the whole "ohhhh snap!" thing.

But last week I was feeling great. I can stand on my own, and then my mom and dad clap like crazy people.

I'm not feeling so hot. Need to rest and take it easy. Last night I only drank water.

I really like to crush things with my thumbs. thumbs are strong.
