@logainne I totally get why a cruise wouldn’t be for everyone! But while There are warrranted criticisms of cruise ships and cruise lines, being dirty is not one. You can walk into the galley on any cruise ship at any time and it’s cleaner than my kitchen has maybe ever been.
I’ve been on two cruises (Bahamas 1995 and Aus/NZ 2005) and... they were fine. There’s a perk to prepaying for food and the idea of (un)packing just once. If anything, I learned that I can never live in a small town. The floating petri dish thing didn’t cross my mind back then.
OK this is my one ride or die tweet about this:
Warren is the best candidate for President by far and it's really fucking depressing to live in a country that (for 2 elections in a row) is falling apart bc men are threatened by women who are smarter than them.
Have a nice day.
The worst thing about it being cold in Miami this week is that I can't use the air conditioner noise to help drown out the karaoke and telenovelas constantly shaking the walls of my house.
Book 1 down 10 days into January. Maybe I'll actually hit my goal this year! Read The Esssex Serpent by Sarah Perry and it was beautiful and melancholy and romantic. Highly recommended.
@SapphiresOfWest He retired from competition in 2013; he was in two Olympics and bronze at World championships once. But he's 35 which is ancient for skaters so no more competitions 😂
@jackimurphy Oh I wasn’t aware of how popular he’s become but I got pretty obsessed with him like 8 years ago or so during Olympics. 😍 I immediately knew his face ‘from somewhere’ when he appeared on #SpinningOut. Does he still skate in competitions?
Unpopular opinion, but I like when celebrities grandstand on climate change, even if they have mansions and private jets. I would rather they use their platforms to advocate for aggressive climate policy than stay silent because they're afraid of the individual action purity mob
