Knightsbridge goes step free with a new station entrance onto Hooper’s Court. This is the 93rd LU station to be made step free. The additional time required for step free journeys across London is now 40% lower than it was in 2016.

@carto_graph @mindthedawes I’m the Project Manager for TfL. No it is all brand new (apart from some of the structure), we have a wonderful Engineer who was adamant we replicated the original features as much as possible! I have pictures of the original :)

@mindthedawes Did they resurrect an old entrance from before the remodelling? If not then I’m impressed at the quality of mimicry of heritage design!
