Whilst I understand frustration around the U16 social media ban and personally don’t believe it should’ve been a blanketed ban for (near enough) all platforms, I think the ban is a net positive. I think it could’ve been limited to Instagram, Tik Tok & Snapchat but regardless we’re seeing increases in all the things that social media doesn’t aid in young people and that surely has to stop? They can go outside and kick a ball about, it’s fun!

@htomufc Had an unbelievable season at Strasbourg last season, serious talent. He’s a pretty complete profile. 6’1 - 92nd percentile for progressive passes p90, 81st for aerials won, 78th for possession won, 2g6a itl too. Reminds me a lot of Timber, just at a lesser level

Just not sure how much that can be said in correlation to this transfer alone? A guy coming off a poor season whom we got a good fee for whilst our ‘backup’ LB in Hato had a much better 2nd half of the season? Don’t think you’re entirely wrong sadly but just don’t see that with this transfer

@jackroberts_12 Chelsea are a destination club, not a journey club. Slowly becoming a place where big players can leave/it’s hard to retain them Model gearing towards signing the next prodigy and ignoring the big hitters is only going to make big players less convinced too

Alonso really needs to work at Chelsea. Otherwise, they’re at risk of becoming Brighton in quite literally every aspect

UNBELIEVABLE FOR CURACAO!

He’s been linked away for a while, more so to Barcelona and Atletico but I expected this. We’ve also been linked with Lewis Hall (doubt that happens but no smoke without fire) & Jorell Hato was immense the 2nd half of last season so I’m not entirely shocked. Will be missed for sure though

Marc Cucurella to Real Madrid… Now that’s an old school bomb. Unless I’ve missed it… very little build-up, just bam… it’s done! That horror show vs Olise has cost Carreras his starting spot in the short and medium term. One of Chelsea’s most consistent players, big loss!
