Fandom should be a hobby, not a lifestyle that costs you your peace or your character. 🛑 ​If "fangirling" has turned into genuine hatred for actors/artists or makes you feel okay with crossing legal and ethical lines, it’s time to close the app and step back. Seriously, the way some people act on here is already scary. Is it that hard to avoid the things you don't enjoy or make feel uncomfortable? Why torture yourself?

Stop normalizing toxic behavior in fandoms. Obsession, overanalyzing, and forcing narratives isn’t “support”, it’s pressure. If u truly admire someone, you should know when to step back and let them live their life.

idk but if someone is clearly enjoying and happily talking about a series/character/dynamic they like, the last thing on my mind is to go into their space and start talking about how much i dislike it…like how miserable can you be. that kind of energy is so baffling to me.

Honestly the best and safest way to enjoy fandom is to simply have a small circle of friends and or mutuals you interact with and keep away from bigger spaces

Personally? I'm excited for this book. I'm excited to explore more of Astarion's past, get to know the other spawn more, and get a grimmer look on Cazador's cruelty. I'm ready to be devastated knowing the ending but still wishing for hope. I'm just excited dude

It's not going to be a romance. Not in the way some of y'all are talking at least. Will a meaningful connection be made between the paladin and Astarion? Yeah probably and they'll both struggle with that attraction and before either can make sense of it. It'll be over.

We know the book is going to end in tragedy. It'll be Cazador's cruelty at the hand of this. We'll see hope dangled in front of Astarion and see him start to reach for it just to have it shredded before him and solidify everything Cazador has meant to "teach" him.

there are a lot of assumptions being made about this book we have only gotten a short description of. i get if you're not excited for Astarion to have a novel but idk maybe lets wait to actually read it before writing it off?
