JBR Bracketology - Seed List Monday 2/3.
-12 JBR 🔒 in purple
-Insane weekend, especially along the 2 and 3 seed lines
-Purdue and Texas A&M take advantage of the carnage as they both surge up to the 2 line on the backs of elite resume metrics
-Houston, Marquette and Michigan State all fall to the 3 line after getting upset
-Texas Tech and Arizona leap up to 4 line, Missouri to the top of the 5 line with all three teams notching big time Quad 1 road wins
-St. John's and Memphis both win Quad 3 games, but both fail to cover. As a result, both teams have worse resume and predictive metrics than they had on Friday, opening the door for others team to jump them
-Oregon continues to be a big faller down the seed list as the losses are beginning to pile up. Ducks are 8-4 vs Quad 1, yet 5-6 in the Big Ten. Bizarre.
-Ole Miss didn't fall as much as they simply got jumped. Rebels will be right back up to a solid 5 seed with a win Tues vs Kentucky.
-UConn moves from the 9 line to back end of the 7 seeds with the Quad 1A win @ Marquette. 3-0 vs Quad 1A jumps off the page despite lagging metrics.
-Mississippi State takes the biggest tumble. Metrics were not kind to the 27 point home loss to Missouri. Bulldogs are now just 2-5 in their last 7 games.
-Gonzaga remains a low end 9 seed despite the road loss @ Saint Mary's. Predictive metrics still excellent, but win % vs both tournament teams and Quad 1 is growing more and more worrisome. 53 SOR and 50 WAB is no bueno. Gotta win games.
-New Mexico takes over the AQ for the Mountain West with Saturday night's road win @ Utah State. Lobos in excellent shape for a bid barring a collapse, though will need to juice up the predictive metrics to really move up the seed list.
-Nebraska takes UCF's spot in the field, as all other bubble teams entering the weekend won their matchups
-Notable Next Four OUT inclusions with Arkansas and USC
-Pour one out for our friends at North Texas and Bradley. Losses this weekend eliminate the Mean Green and Braves, respectively, from at-large contention
