How to find College Basketball Coaches on X

One of the biggest recruiting mistakes players make: Posting game highlights... but never actually contacting college coaches. Coaches are not searching Instagram all day hoping to randomly find your page. You need a proactive recruiting strategy.

Parents: If your athlete says they want to play college basketball, the recruiting process cannot wait until senior year. The players getting opportunities early are usually: posting consistently emailing coaches attending the right events staying visible year-round

A player with: good grades solid film consistent outreach a professional social media presence will often get more opportunities than a more talented player with no recruiting strategy. That’s the reality of recruiting.

Your highlight tape should answer ONE question fast: “Can this player help us win?” Not: cinematic edits long intros slow motion clips songs College coaches care about production on the court, not production quality.

If I never emailed college coaches, I would’ve never gotten the opportunity to play college basketball. I got 35+ college opportunities because I stopped waiting to get “discovered” and started reaching out proactively. Let that sink in.
