Community engagement During my time as team leader this was one of my favourite parts of the job. Something I am keen to be close to now as an Operations Manager but also inspire my team to embrace the power of engagement and last week they did just that…
Jack Yeoman the allestree team leader attended the Allestree Forum here’s what Jack has to say to our team; These forums provide a valuable opportunity for local residents to speak directly with councillors & local services (including ourselves from trentbarton) It’s great to be invited to events such as these and engage with our customers directly—hearing what they value about our service on the allestree & the sixes, as well as where we can continue to improve. Understanding our customers and engaging with them is valuable as is sharing with our teams what goes off in the background. Business is about people pure and simple. Engage with customers, the community and feedback to your teams within the business. Fantastic team work. Massive thank you to the the forum for continuing to have us. @jackyeoman2016

The annual Shrovetide match returns on Tuesday 17 and Wednesday 18 February, with play starting at 2pm each day and finishing no later than 10pm. To help you get there comfortably, we’re boosting capacity on swift 🚍 This year, we’ll be running three double-deckers instead of the usual two, giving you plenty more seats between Derby and Ashbourne. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride to one of Derbyshire’s most iconic events! Find out more information here.. orlo.uk/WOEKH

❄️ Snow across the East Midlands is a reminder that for some regions, severe winter weather is not the norm. While it often brings a sense of dread — disruption, delays, and challenging conditions — it also highlights the resilience of those who keep things moving, our drivers have once again battled through difficult roads over the past few days with professionalism, care, and an unwavering commitment to our customers. Their determination in adverse conditions does not go unnoticed, and it’s something we’re incredibly proud of. A few pics from some our Derby depot drivers. #teamtrentbarton

We had a brilliant time at the Derby Santa Fun Run, cheering on a whopping 700 Santas as they made their way around Markeaton Park. It was lovely to see so many people and pups getting involved, spreading plenty of festive cheer 🎅🏼 We were also very proud to be the headline sponsors, helping to raise money for @DerbyBurtonHospitalsCharity Find out more about the amazing charity here.. orlo.uk/FGi5M

@trentbartonland Hi. If the A6 road reopens again later, are you diverting the 6.1 again via Matlock Bath onwards? Or waiting until Monday?

Due to essential roadworks at Five Lamps, together with temporary three-way traffic signals at Duffield and Belper Market Place, our Sixes services are currently subject to significant delays of up to 45 minutes. As peak travel times approach, these delays are expected to increase further, with journeys potentially running 60–75 minutes behind schedule. We regret the inconvenience caused and appreciate your understanding and patience during this period of disruption. Please allow extra time for your journeys.
