This has been an every single week social media conversation for almost 5 years. Clearly it’s not popular. All we’ve done is open up more space to be consistently poorly utilized. Put whatever metrics on value you want in a deck. The fans are right and they’re the customers.

I’m so tired of this debate. Put the numbers back on the door so we can never talk about this again. Fans hate it. No one will go on record to defend what they lobbied for. The “partner” will pay for whatever space is available. If you can’t sell it, look in the mirror.

@speed_visions Look at the empty space on the cup cars in 2020/'21 then look at how much longer the next gen's doors are... Not having any contingency sponsors looked awful with most schemes in '20/'21 and it would look 1000x worse with this car.

So, I have a serious question about this Cleetus McFarland RCR deal. Why is it that testing is banned (aside from Goodyear and new manufacturers) yet they were allowed to test for 10 hours at a track the @NASCAROReillyAP runs on? Now, they have an "elite driver" test, but in what world does Cleetus fall under that provision? Here's the rule: Elite Driver Exception: NASCAR allows "Select Driver Orientation Tests" for drivers with high-level experience from other series (e.g., F1, IndyCar), provided they are approved by NASCAR and use a different team for the test Last I checked, he tested with the team he is racing for. So, @NASCAR, when does the rest of the field get a private test of their choosing?

My biggest concern would be flipping in the apron transition in the turns.

Gotta remember that Daytona capacity is over 100k and Talladega is over 80k. A standalone event wouldn't work great
