@jacobsawley I didn’t say this opportunity is value-less, but it’s not helpful at all. Most of these acts who play these big festivals can’t sell out a 100 cap room in a top 25 market. Doing festivals ahead of when they’re ready isn’t a good thing. Cart before the horse.

Back in the day, most artists would begin their career by playing for a crowd of 13 people — except it would be at a dingy 100-cap venue, not Rolling Loud. And the value was in the experience. It helped the act become a better performer. Festivals fucked it all up.

A loan you don’t have to pay back! Unless they’ll make the deal significantly better without it, TAKE THE ADVANCE! Also, trying to get your royalties from these labels and publishers is usually a nightmare, so get that money upfront lol
