@Crypto_Diet Your choice of friends can affect you financially.
English

What did you learn financially in your university days?
Sir Nelson@Crypto_Diet
University can mislead you financially. The guy spending ₦20k every weekend looks like he’s winning. Good clothes. Soft life. Always outside. Then there’s the quiet one: Living on ₦1k–₦2k per day. Tracking every expense Skipping enjoyment for survival You think he’s “not smart with life”. Fast forward 5 years. One has no savings, no assets. The other understands money, discipline, and pressure. Same school. Different financial mindset. Now this is it. University doesn’t reward who spends the most…life rewards who survives the longest.

@idemeko64612 @lowkhieyed @iamAhmadOlolu @FinPlanKaluAja1 If bandits can afford guns and vehicles, then how do you explain the concept of being poor?
Okay, let's agree they were poor. After the billions in ransom, why not start a legal business and leave banditry.
You see it's not about poverty.
English

@jerrypaulinus1 @BashirAhmaad Technically, they negotiated them out. The DSS and military likely pressured the bandits until they agreed to release the girls to avoid being bombed. It’s a safer way to rescue hostages than a shootout, even if it leaves questions about what the bandits got in return.

@spyda247 @DaddyTwinzz @egbe_ntu @Hibana122 @Ifeanyiobidient @Unabombaar @officialbat419 I'm Yoruba, I'm concerned as to why igbos can't hold event in Yoruba land without any hiccup.
But we as Nigerians hold events in UK without any issues whatsoever. Why so much hate?
English

@DaddyTwinzz @egbe_ntu @Hibana122 @Ifeanyiobidient @Unabombaar @officialbat419 Obviously you don't know the difference between forcefully holding an event that's a flop and hosting one that's accepted. You igbos don't understand because you're headstrong trying to prove yourself bullies in other people's land and with other people's culture.

In 2024, when the first Lagos-Igbo Hangout was announced on X, the Yoruba Ronus unleashed a whole lot of threats that the show will never hold, they swore on their lives that nothing will make the show hold in Lagos. They openly threatened to storm the venue and cause havoc.
They wrote to Police and to the Lagos State Government, they made all sorts of petition. They even swore to invite Oro on that day.
Lo and behold, the show eventually held, after all their empty threats. What did they do? They changed mouth and came with a lot of shameful excuses. A lot of them shamefully deleted their posts.
Here are some of their shameful excuses:
"we just pity una"
"that event was a mere get-together"
"even secondary school party hot pass the Hangout"
"you can't compare that get-together to our Ojude Oba festival"
bla bla bla.....
This is the same thing playing out now concerning @uzoart Owambe Exhibition. Empty noise everywhere as usual. After all the threats and ranting, the exhibition has kicked off and they have changed mouth to "it's just a photoshoot in a parlour".
Do you now see how empty they are?

English

@ifesalakooffice Lol, he's complaining about the issues like it's not the government's duty to solve.
"Not enough policemen"
"Policemen has just one riffle"
Whose fault?
English

@Premier_100 @officialABAT So?!!!
What if he paid the ransom?!!!!!!
You people can never be satisfied
Can you??

My fellow Nigerians,
You will recall that I cancelled my trip to the G20 summit in South Africa to enable me coordinate the security efforts at home.
Thanks to the efforts of our security forces over the last few days, all the 38 worshippers abducted in Eruku, Kwara State have been rescued.
I am equally happy that 51 out of the missing students of the Catholic School in Niger State, have been recovered.
I am closely monitoring the security situation nationwide and receiving continuous updates from the frontline.
Let me be clear: I will not relent. Every Nigerian, in every state, has the right to safety — and under my watch, we will secure this nation and protect our people.
