We're working with a partner with over 4000 pilots. They need highly integrated job dispatching and highly integrated deliverable uploading (photos, videos, lidar data). Here's a demo of us hitting their jobs API, downloading a set of jobs, performing detailed routing, and executing the missions. A couple of high points: - This is our 100% custom Controller application (which runs on our real and custom hardware!) - We're just getting started, there's a lot more work and polish needed, but this is 100x better than alternatives on the market - We've got LOIs signed, in progress, and several customers BEGGING for these features. - This is a live API demo (with simulated aircraft) We can pause in the middle of a mission, return home, change batteries, swap SD cards, and continue the mission (!!!!). Anyone who has operated drones at scale knows this is a major pain currently with US open source-based drones! - This is just the starting point. It's only going to get better from here as we vertically integrate across everything. - V1 drone test flights and sales coming soon. - MADE IN AMERICA. We're building features customers actually need and want. Join us on the journey!

@jnyboy Yeah, I just had a whole bunch of AI slop Indian applications to a few jobs. Some of them said they have 5+ years experience building our proprietary stuff in development....

if the hyperscalers were serious and thought they'd really be making billions off AI they'd fund me + my boy @Dylan_Morri to the tune of ~$50M ea to solve their energy problems.

@build_boost 1 week. Assuming you get the location on the first day, and then on day 7. That'll reduce it to 2 points to check. Then just travel to those 2 points which can surely be done in less than ~2 weeks where you'd be waiting for more location data.

@beffjezos "even so, and I'll build it better" isn't pessimism.

Not sure if I killed the 6-7 stuff with my kids, or if they stopped it around me, or if it coincidentally started dying. But pretty much after I said "this is you guys" and played it several times.... It stopped being a regular reference. m.youtube.com/watch?v=8pE1Cv…

Still wild to me that Stoke's first Zenith engine was made by a team of less than 10 people in under one and a half years.

@joshu @SQLGene You going to create a self-play arena next? Have it evolve over time or try different strategies or whatever?

@joshu @SQLGene Interesting... I know there's a pickleball app that works for random doubles partners... I don't remember what approach they use tho.

@DabsMalone Yep. Same story from 10+ years ago when I first left the industry. (back at it again looking to solve some of the problems)

just got back from a drone conference. About 80 percent of speakers said the same two things. FAA and FCC rules are the number one blocker, except for police users. And there is no viable alternative to China for key materials.

Some people claim these results. And then I struggle with the same models to get it to open a file I gave it the direct path to.

i got my whole genome sequenced two years ago and forgot about it. last week i told my ai agent (@laukiantonson) to dig up my DNA files • it dug up a two-year-old email • found the download link • pulled down 67 gigabytes of raw DNA. • rented a 32-core, 64GB machine for a few hours — total cost: $5 • aligned 21 million long reads to the human reference genome — 99.83% mapped • called 5.8 million genetic variants using a two-pass neural network • phased every variant — separated maternal vs paternal inheritance • annotated all 5.8M variants against ClinVar, PharmGKB, and gnomAD • corrected for population-specific bias in the medical literature • health risk map across 39 conditions flagged in every body system • drug compatibility guide for 141 medications color-coded by genome response • nutrient metabolism - 71 variants affecting absorption of vitamins, minerals, iron • traits, ancestry going back 40,000 years, neanderthal DNA breakdown $5 in compute. 8 hours. no bioinformatician. no doctor. just one instruction. we've genuinely reached a point where an ai agent can take your raw genome and hand you back a full personal health profile in a single shot. i had no idea this was even possible.

@NASA has just released some EXTRAORDINARY tracking footage from Artemis II's launch just one week ago. Mesmerizing exhaust flow interaction between all four RS-25's & twin SRB's.
