8 questions the New York Times fails to ask: 1. Is there any source for the number of civilian casualties in Gaza besides Hamas? Any at all? 2. How many of the reported casualties were Hamas or Islamic Jihad fighters? (Note that Hamas recruits both women and children). 3. Has anyone seen this volume of bodies or graves? Are there any images of same, showing this scale? (For comparison, Israel needed +10 shipping containers to store the dead at Shura, on top of many other locations. The casualties in Israel were a 10th of what’s being claimed in Gaza). 4. What’s the process for collecting bodies from collapsed buildings? How are the deaths counted so rapidly when these sites can take weeks or months to clear? 5. Why are there no 3rd party groups that are reviewing and publishing casualty figures? (In past Gaza wars there were a few.) 6. How many of the civilians were killed by the 1500+ Hamas rockets that have fallen short and struck Gaza? 7. How many of the civilians were shot or blown up by Hamas for disobeying orders? 8. Why are no Western journalists active in Gaza now and verifying these claims? (In previous Gaza wars there were many.) In sum, this report from the Times amounts to a monstrous allegation. It impacts Israel’s ability to effectively secure its borders and puts Jewish communities across the globe in the crosshairs. Absent equally extensive substantiation, the Times again finds itself parroting the talking points of one of history’s worst actors. It bears full responsibility for what evil this reckless publication inspires.

Here is a list of international community leaders. It referenced if they condemned Hamas for October 7th, how long before they publicly condemned Hamas, or called on Israeli hostages to be released 🧵

Every musician, music venue, festival owner, music publication, music company and record label that chose to remain silent in the face of the gravest crimes against humanity at a music festival, merely because it unfolded in the one Jewish state, must be unequivocally labeled as purveyors of hate against Jews. Likewise, any self-proclaimed feminist who not only refrained from condemning but goes so far as to deny the horrifying mass rape that transpired on October 7, solely because it occurred in the Jewish state, exposes themselves as fervent Jew-haters. The same damning verdict applies to every self-styled human rights defender who, in the wake of the most abominable slaughter against Jews since the Holocaust – including the rape and burning alive of children and the elderly – has chosen to remain silent for the Jewish victims, thereby exposing their deep-rooted antisemitism. None of these individuals or organizations can lay claim to legitimacy, and none warrant your time, energy, or financial support.

A synagogue and community centre firebombed. In Montreal. In Canada. Barely a peep…it barely registered. In. F-cking. Canada. Canadian Jews are not OK. This is not OK. Palestinians are not the enemy, Hamas is the enemy…but many are being incited to think Jews are the enemy 😢.

It’s tragic that it came to this but the firebombing of a Jewish community centre and synagogue in Montreal must send a clear message to our country’s leaders. Antisemitism is real! The threats against Canadian Jews are real! For God’s sake, take action now before someone dies.

Your Jewish friends and colleagues will never be the same. What is taking place around the world as a result of a terrorist organization massacring Jews in Israel highlights how much Jew hatred there is and how tolerated it appears to be. We feel devastated, scared and alone.

The explosion of antisemitic rhetoric and threats targeting Jews at campuses across 🇨🇦 requires the full attention of the Canadian Government. @CanadianFSWC is calling for the urgent convening of a Task Force for On-Campus Antisemitism, to ensure the safe-space of Jewish faculty and students is protected.

Today in 1971, The Hilarious House of Frightenstein debuted on CHCH-TV. It aired for one nine-month season, with 130 episodes (and years in reruns). Let's learn about this very unique children's show that is still beloved to this day! The idea came about with Riff Markowitz having an idea for the show and inviting a group of friends to a dinner party to brainstorm at the Windsor Arms Hotel in Toronto. The idea for The Hilarious House of Frightenstein was approved by the station, who hoped to reach the Toronto market with it. Vincent Price was brought on to do introductions to the various segments as he wanted to do a children's show. He filmed all 400 of his segments in four days for $13,000. In Canada it aired after-school or on weekend mornings, with it aimed to children. The United States aired it in a late-night slot and aimed it towards college students. In some American markets, it outdrew The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson in the college demographic. Each episode was structured around a narrative of Count Frightenstein attempting to revive Brucie J. Monster, with various unrelated bits from the castle filling out the show. Count Frightenstein was played by Billy Van, while Igor was played by Fishka Rais. Billy Van played nearly every character on the show including The Count, Grizelda The Ghastly Gourmet, The Wolfman and many more. Other characters included The Grammar Slammar, The Professor, Grizelda, Bwana Clyde Batty. There were also three puppets named Harvey Wallbanger, Gronk and Bammer. Julius Sumner Miller played The Professor and filmed all his segments within the summer. Mike Myers has listed the show as one that played an informative influence on his comedy.
