the fact that people are degrading him and calling him names and shitting on his talent is fucking disgusting. you don't have to like the stage, but saying all that shit? fuck right off.

honestly i get why some ppl felt uncomfortable but at the end of the day it was a staged performance & not real life. from a technical standpoint everything, from the choreography blocking formations to the dancers’ positioning comes from a full creative team and not just dunk himself. the dancers are professionals who agreed to the concept and he’s performing what was directed of him. that kind of staging (levels, use of bodies, visual dynamics) is pretty common in performance art and attacking his morals or calling him “indecent” over this feels way too far. you can critique the execution if it didn’t land for you, that’s valid but that doesn’t define his character as a person. he was clearly just doing his job and giving his all for the stage, not trying to disrespect anyone. he was raised well and from everything we’ve seen of him, he’s not the kind of person some people are painting him to be
