@MeghUpdates UAE is considering such a move. It's not done that yet. Please stop copy pasting from Iranian handles. However hard Iran tries, it cannot come out as the victim of its non-stop attacks on its neighbors.

Guys, meet these four ‘Dabba-khol’ tech YouTubers🤡 • 99% unboxing phones • Reading specs like little kids reading a textbook • Companies give them phones and they just keep saying- ‘wow, killer performance, superb, crazy, cool’😅 Tech knowledge left the chat🤡

Reliance Jio states, "your service request has been processed" instead of ignored. Crores of cash has been collected from customers across the country promising AirFiber discounts. Everytime a complaint is raised for non-installation, the customers receive a text the next day, saying their service request has been "processed". If they request cancellation of application after weeks & months of waiting, again it's "processed" without any refund. Their devices in fact are getting sold off for parts by their own staff or to 3rd party contractors for a commission. If anyone gets an AirFiber device, their higher than normal tariff has to be paid in advance like any prepaid, but on My Jio app, that connection is categorised as "Post paid"

What exactly are they achieving by opening new service centers when the memory is still fresh of OnePlus’s inconsistencies in its service quality and its consistent failure to honor the official statements and guarantees made by Robin Liu? If the company does not even listen to its own CEO, how can customers realistically expect OnePlus to listen to them?

Moulvis are running love jihad squads, says Mohammad Zafa. Mohammad Zafar, who runs a tailor shop in Bahadurgarh, Haryana, has become friends with seven Hindu girls. He claimed that a Maulvi had instructed him to befriend Hindu girls, have physical relationships with them, and convert them to Islam.

A final-year law student, Rishi Kumar from Tamil Nadu National Law University, refuses to delete his blog criticising the Supreme Court… despite pressure from his own university. Why? Because the administration allegedly received calls from advocates, judges, and others claiming the post harms the institution’s “reputation.” The blog titled “The Supreme Court of India Has No Spine” questioned the court’s decision to ban an NCERT textbook chapter on judicial corruption. But here’s the real issue: A law student is being told to silence himself… for expressing a legal opinion. His response? Clear and powerful: “My opinions are mine… you do not own my voice or my conscience.” He even said he’s ready to face disciplinary action rather than back down. This isn’t just about one blog. This is about academic freedom vs institutional pressure. If law students… the future of the judiciary are discouraged from questioning the system, then who exactly is allowed to question it? Criticism of institutions ≠ disrespect. Silencing criticism = weakening democracy.

In 2023, OnePlus market share was 6.1%, 2024 saw it go down to 3.9% & 2025 was even lower: just 2.9%. 2024-2025 was the sharpest decline that any brand saw. They'll have to focus on selling more volumes of budget & mid range to slowly bring the market share back & gradually raise the price over time.

@jaimaa @beebomco Idts that would be justifiable to raise midrange prices to flagship level they'd get hell of a backlash for that and their OS experience is pretty stable now it's literally Color OS core slapped with Oxygen OS name but works like charm

If i were told to download a file on to my office or personal device to order food, while seated at a restaurant, I would get up & walk away instantly. Not because they couldn't afford to print a menu or don't bother to maintain bare minimum standards, but because I'm not dumb to take the risk of infecting my device for a meal.

95,000 football fields worth of forests gone in just a decade in Madhya Pradesh. MP has the largest forest cover in India. It has also become the state that has diverted the most forests for development. 38,553 hectares in ten years. 22% of the country's total. More than Odisha at 14% and Telangana at 7%. And the pace is not slowing down. More than half of this diversion happened in just the last five years. The consequences are not abstract. Majority of districts in MP already face extreme heat risk and an aggravated water crisis. Forests are a buffer against both. As that buffer shrinks, the cost falls hardest on communities that depend directly on these forests, as well as on people like us who live in cities. Man-animal conflict is rising. Tigers and other wild animals are being pushed out of core forest zones into shrublands, preying on livestock. Small and marginal farmers are bearing that cost too. MP is also home to a large tribal population that sustains itself in and around these forests. Their stakes in this conversation are rarely centered. This needs serious, in-depth study. And whatever interventions follow have to be participatory. Not just technical fixes decided without the people most affected. @DrMohanYadav51

@BhatkarSoham @beebomco I know multiple people using 13 & 15. They're happy with them. I suspect Oppo intends to gradually raise the price of OnePlus mid range phones to flagship levels. Isn't Vivo phones getting better than Oppo's? Is Vivo a more viable option?

@BhatkarSoham @beebomco Sadly, yes. As of now, it looks like OnePlus intends to restrict its future smartphone lineup in India to budget and mid-range devices, with no flagship launches planned beyond the OnePlus 15.

Manali, circa 1996. We are travelling back from the Manikaran Gurudwara to Manali town in a HPTC bus. Some 20 of us- large family group. It's late evening, we are about 20 kms away from Manali. It's raining. One of the little bridges that connects one hill to another just flows away in front of my eyes. I am in the front of a bus as a 12 year old, and I see a Maruti Omni fall in the ravine. Someone shouts to stop the bus, thankfully, it does. With much machinations, the bus is turned around. The alternate route is 40 odd kms. It start raining heavily. We are hungry/thirsty. A few kids start crying. Everything is closed. It's dark. One dhaba has a bulb on outside, but shutter down. My uncle gets down along with a few elders, and begs the guy for food. There isn't enough for every one on the bus. We get daal in steel glasses, and one roti each. Everyone just dips the roti and eats. We reach our hotel at 3 am. Longest night of my short life. We leave Manali a day later, ahead of schedule, as it is just raining non stop. Nothing to do- we are cold and miserable. 3 days later, the hotel we were staying in at the edge of Manali, an HPTDC property, is carried away by the Beas river. In toto.
