My best friend’s aunt had breast cancer, was hospitalized & lost her job. She was a contributing, active member before her illness. They asked the church for help w/ hospital and home bills & they said she hadn’t tithed enough that year for them to help. She died within months.

@WikiTreers I discovered some old papers (ancestors never threw anything away) that were telling an extremely interesting story. I wanted to know more! My senior thesis at Wells was some of these stories. Most of the genealogy has been done by them, but I still want more. Lots more. 😊

@peacebang My sister and I have both lived in different areas of the Midwest. We got immune to tornado warnings after a while. We didn’t bother to take action until the sky turned green. It must be like Californians not bothering about quakes.
