@JackPosobiec I don't care whose they are, the UK can defend it themselves. When they needed us (supply, intelligence, political and military support) were were there for them. When we needed them (barely, just airspace/base usage) they weren't there for us. They can defend it on their own.

Argentina doesn't recognize the Falkland Islands as legitimate because they claim the UK imported a completely artificial population for purely political reasons. Any vote made would not be valid. The UN agrees. If they are correct, what would that say about London?

Here's my take. Trump trying to use the Falklands as leverage against Britain is not a smart move. I have huge respect for America and many good friends across the pond, and I would still vote for Trump RIGHT NOW. But this kind of pressure will only damage the Special Relationship even further, and we all know Starmer has already done enough damage on his own. The lefties in Britain already hate America and Trump - this won’t change that. The real danger is that patriotic Brits will start turning against you too. This needs to be thought out properly, by all sides. The British people will not tolerate this.
