@TobyEvenden As a coach and you see that happening, you don’t try help them with additions, you stick to your principles and change the players mentality. This is done by the team talk at the hydration break or by making some attacking subs where you’re helping the players have an outlet

I dont think Tuchel told anyone to sit back but realised the weak mentality of the squad as they dropped deep and said to himself might as well try and help with the additions that fit this mindset. England players gave up themselves.

Struggling to understand the whole 'Nigel's hard work undone'. What hard work? He took over a ridiculously injured squad in 13th. Ended up 19th. Had a better available squad next season, ended up 17th. I wish I could understand. He had to go for us to progress. Please explain it

My point is that if we were playing like this and getting these results under Manning, he’d be getting a lot more slack than Struber is currently getting

@kpcider It’s his first season and that normally buys a coach a little time, but the lads look terrified to risk trying anything and it’s beginning to look like Manning ball. We are not murdering them in the merciless moments. We are showing lots of mercy. John Kreese would be disgusted.
