BUT Why😬😬 A police inspector from Abuakwa, Inspector Bright Appiah Danquah, has been arrested for allegedly robbing over eight mobile money (MoMo) vendors at gunpoint in Kumasi. In a bizarre twist, he left his personal phone at one robbery scene, then rushed to Adiebeba Police Station to report it stolen thus arriving at the same time as his victim, who was there to report the crime. One victim, Victoria Arkoh, said Danquah robbed her of GH₵38,600 at gunpoint, causing her to urinate on herself in terror while her one-year-old baby was present. When she reported the incident, police revealed multiple other vendors had filed similar complaints against the same officer. Danquah is now in custody pending prosecution.
