“In the most recent legislative session, an unlikely champion for small-town reinvestment emerged in Republican Rep. Danny Lopez, who represents the metropolitan hub of Carmel in the House but drove the revival of focused rural tax credits.” ibj.com/articles/bill-…

As the Red Sox travel to St. Louis to take on the Cardinals for a three-game series, we continue our throwback series to arguably the greatest day in team history on October 27, 2004. Edgar Renteria hit a groundball back at Keith Foulke in the bottom-of-the-ninth inning in Game 4 of the 2004 World Series. With a flip over to first baseman, Doug Mientkiewicz, the team would win their first World Series in 86 years, officially ending the “Curse of the Bambino.” Since that day, the Red Sox have gone on to win three more championships, leading all of baseball with four in the century. Above all, they set a new winning standard for baseball in Boston

I saw a movie (film) called Ocean's Eleven at @imaxindy, home of the state's largest movie screen. Still a lot of fun, 25+ years later. And the new seats at the IMAX in @WhiteRiverStPrk are wonderful!

Open Range is so much better than I remembered. I wrote about this earlier this week after just learning about Robert Duvall’s passing, but I just gave this a rewatch today & Duvall & Kevin Costner are perfect casting together. The filmmaking here is exceptional. Duvall thrives.

@CinemaTweets1 The directors cut is the movie we all thought we were releasing. However, 17 minutes were cut for the cinema release. A minute is a long time on screen. Imagine any of your favourite movies with 17 minutes of the most emotional connective tissue removed… watch the directors cut

Ridley Scott’s Robin Hood received a lot of unfair comparisons to Gladiator that resulted in Robin Hood not getting as much love as it probably deserved. This is a quality movie with an exceptional cast that runs deep. Russell Crowe is also really damn good here. Worth watching.
