The artist’s life. I am too tired to pour the coffee I made. Up all last night working on friends’ records. Panicking about needing videos for my upcoming record. I made a lazy post on fb saying I wish I knew more filmmakers & leads appear. Called a filmmaker friend pre-coffee.

Full reveal of my next print for @colonialtheatre screening of the immortal classic, Metropolis on August 6th, complete with a live organ score! So much painstaking detail went into this, but the end result was so rewarding. And yes, metallic silver ink😎

A friend is helping me to see how impossible life on the road used to be. I remember a week where I got 11 hours of sleep. Not because I wasn’t trying. The drive times were just that horrible. And I was gutted to lose that very prestigious booker at the time.

@JolieHolland I feel like my life is drastically different when touring vs being stationary. I think my longest span of time with no sleep is 4 days. My longest drive for a show was from Lexington, KY to Austin, TX. Have you ever kept a journal? I feel like you would have some good stories!

@JolieHolland Do you enjoy touring? I really like it and miss it but maybe haven't done it enough to get burned out yet.
