The potential consolidation of power into a one-party state under the current administration is detrimental to democracy.

From ₦185 to ₦1,500—this is the legacy of the APC's "reform" without a safety net. While the government tells us to endure, the cost of transportation and food has become a luxury. How can a nation with so much oil leave its citizens stranded in long queues for expensive fuel?

When they politicians are ready to hit the street, we will follow them. Not after risking my life by hitting the street, they and their families that are outside the country won't appreciate the sacrifices made for them by us. Until they are ready to join us like during the occupy Nigeria protest, before I go put body.

@YunusaTanko As long as Peter Obi and other ADC stalwart will be there, then count me in.

@neo_officialll Neo are you saying that God us not real? I belive he is real but that doesn't mean people shouldn't defend themselves.

We dont have a "leadership problem" in Nigeria. We have a "citizenship problem." We pray for a leader who won't steal, but we would jump at the chance to "get our share" if we were in their position. The corruption is bottom-up.

@PeterObi This hits hard. It turns out they weren’t fighting for 'Democracy'; they were just fighting for their turn to be the ones holding the whip. Power hasn’t changed them,it has simply revealed that the 'activism' of the 90s was just a long-term job interview for tyranny

When a generation starts looking back at the Abacha era with nostalgia, you know the current government has failed the ultimate moral test. It’s a tragedy that those who fled into exile to escape a dictator have returned to build a system that makes the dictator look like an amateur

@KwankwasoRM They lived long enough to see themselves become the villains. The 1994 activists are the 2026 oppressors. History will not be kind to this 'Renewed' irony

@atiku Power is the ultimate truth serum. It has shown us that our 'pro-democracy' icons didn't want to destroy the system of oppression—they just wanted to own the keys to the cell. From NADECO to this? What a colossal fall from grace.

@elonmusk Facts. They love the 'oppressed' in theory, but they’d never move into their neighborhoods or put their kids in the same schools. They treat activism like a fashion accessory—it’s about their own moral ego, not actual results

@firstladyship There is a massive difference between a leader who sees a tragedy as a 'security report' and a leader who sees it as a broken family. Obi doesn't just 'visit'; he carries the burden with the people. You can’t simulate that kind of heart—you either have it or you don't.

@firstladyship You can't give what you don't have. Nigeria is currently starving for a leader who actually likes the people he leads.

If the President’s safety and schedule are too 'complex' to allow him to enter the city, then what hope does the average Jos resident have? Using 'logistical challenges' as an excuse is basically admitting that the government cannot even secure a path for its own leader. It’s an admission of failure, not an explanation.
