Terrifying TOP policy 1.75% annual land tax on land value. Eg, if you own a mortgaged home on land valued at $500,000 you pay $8750 per year or $168 per week land tax...FFS!! How could people (in that socioeconomic group) afford that +mortgage payments + rates + everything else?
