Today in the Senate the Liberal and Nationals party have been fighting to dump net zero and get lower energy prices for the Australian people. Pauline Hanson recycled a stunt from 2017 which has taken the pressure off Labor for their net zero failures. One Nation are good at stunts in the Senate but they're not so crash hot at winning votes in the Parliament. One Nation is not the answer to defeat this terrible Labor Government.

32 countries across the world have nuclear power - yet Australia continues to think solar and wind turbines can power our nation without continual blackouts. If we're to maintain or build our nations manufacturing sector - we must have affordable power. If we're to provide reliable, cheap power to housholds - we have to make a choice to either continue using coal fired power stations or build modern nuclear power plants across the country. If you've had a gut full of increasing power prices - say no to Labor and the LNP's Net Zero plan on October 26 and vote One Nation.

Council are calling for your feedback on the spending of $30 million on Great Keppel Island. There's not much time! Again, there appears to be another push to spend the money on indigenous stories and yarning circles, instead of the sensible use of taxpayer money on a jetty and disability access. It's time to send a clear message to Council on what locals really want. Don't complain on what they spend the money on if you're not willing to speak up now. livingstone.qld.gov.au/news/article/6…

Days before entering caretaker mode, Queensland Labor have handed over another 210 hectares of state land in a secret deal to aboriginals under the Aboriginal Land Act. There are more than a dozen more land grabs across Queensland, that’s a dozen more towns under threat. Is our region of Keppel next?

The Queensland town of Toobeah has been abandoned by Labor and betrayed by the LNP. The major parties have worked together, through a secret deal, to transfer council-managed land that the community held trusteeship over for more than 100 years. Now the people of the town will be forced to negotiate with an Indigenous corporation for any access to what was once land shared by everyone. What a disgrace. Before you think this could never happen to you, wake up. Fourteen other towns across Queensland are also undergoing secretive land transfers to Indigenous corporations. If you think your community is safe, think again. What happened at Toobeah is happening all over Queensland, and it could happen to you. The only way to stop this is to support One Nation, because we are the only party committed to ending these divisive race-based land transfers. I see Australia not in black and white but in Green and Gold. This is our land to share, not one group’s to control.

Plans for new road infrastructure here in Keppel are being met with costly demands for a Cultural Heritage inspection. The much needed East West Connector would reduce traffic on Tanby Road and the Scenic Highway, however preliminary costs have outlined a $70,000 ransom for Cultural Heritage purposes. Is it any wonder why progress on new roads is slow and costly? Who else will call this nonsense out on the floor of parliament if One Nation aren't there? Vote for me and One Nation at this election for common sense.

Media Release | Jab justice: getting people back to work One Nation will deliver justice for Queensland public sector workers whose employment was terminated or suspended because they refused COVID-19 vaccination. Party leader Senator Pauline Hanson said One Nation would end the pandemic of discrimination still being inflicted on workers who would not comply with vaccine mandates now ruled illegal by the Queensland Supreme Court. “The workers got it right and the government got it wrong, so why are the workers still being punished and why must Queensland suffer for it?” Senator Hanson said. “The unlawful COVID-19 jab mandates caused an exodus of skilled, experienced workers from essential services – nurses, police, firefighters, teachers, prison guards – and these services have been diminished as a result. “They’re all crying out for experienced people to bolster their workforces, just as Queenslanders are crying out for better services at this election.” One Nation Queensland leader and candidate for Keppel James Ashby said the party would reinstate all willing public sector workers whose employment was affected because they wouldn’t comply with unlawful jab mandates, and would expunge their employment records of any disciplinary measures imposed. “Despite the pandemic being over – and despite jab mandates for nurses and police being ruled unlawful in Queensland – many workers still face suspension and other disciplinary measures for standing up for their rights, and standing up for ours,” Mr Ashby said. “It’s pure bureaucratic vindictiveness and we will put a stop to it. I wouldn’t blame any individual for refusing to again work for an employer who treated them so poorly but for those who are willing, One Nation will get them back into the jobs where Queensland desperately needs them and we’ll wipe their slates clean of any disciplinary actions related to jab mandates. “These workers have been denied justice for years now. It’s time to admit the government got it wrong, and deliver the justice these people deserve.”

Labor's desperate election campaign has taken a dive to even greater depths as early voting begins. While One Nation recognise the cost-of-living pressures mounting on families and those on fixed incomes, we don't believe in creating an over reliance on government. Governments should take a leaf out of the book of farmers. If you provide the right conditions for Queenslander's, everything will grow and flourish. Instead, the major parties deliberately create an environment of dependence where they have something to hold over you. What have we heard this whole election from a desperate Labor Government? "𝙄𝙛 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙫𝙤𝙩𝙚 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙖𝙣𝙮𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙤𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙣 𝙇𝙖𝙗𝙤𝙧, 𝙮𝙤𝙪'𝙡𝙡 𝙡𝙤𝙨𝙚 𝙞𝙩." These sugar hits come with consequences, and this is why One Nation will play a crucial role in holding both Labor and the LNP accountable in the next Queensland Parliament.

$𝟯.𝟱 𝗠𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗘𝗺𝘂 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 Excellent news!!!! I've forced the incoming Premier to give Emu Park the money to buy the land for a new high school. For more than 6 months we've been running a petition, radio ads, tv commercials and door knocking to gain support for this vital high school. I'm pleased to say that we've achieved stage 1 of the plan. It's now up to you to ensure you've got a local Member of Parliament who will now get the rest of the money so we can break ground and start building.

Despite Australian Universities sliding down the international rankings list - the country is hosting 793,335 international students in 2024. The truth is, many are here exploiting our education system as a pathway to citizenship - pure and simple. But international students are also a contributing factor to the nations housing shortage with most students no longer living on campus. Politicians will continue to give you excuses, but the facts surrounding our housing crisis are staring us right in the face.

If you want change for the better here in Keppel, I'm hoping you'll support my campaign to become the new Member for Keppel. In the meantime, One Nation have put Labor and the Greens last on our How-to-Vote cards. This video demonstrates how you can ensure we get rid of the current Member for Keppel and her atrocious counterparts across the state. I hope I can count on your support in the lead up to October 26.

The major parties are trying to distract voters with a discussion on Daylight Savings ahead of the Queensland election. I think there are much bigger issues like crime, cost of living, health and housing that deserve our attention a few days out from early voting. Peta Credlin raised the matter on her show last night. Check out the stunning sunset in Farnborough last night btw.

𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗦𝗽𝗶𝗻 𝗪𝗼𝗻'𝘁 𝗦𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗟𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿 One Nation has taken a disciplined approach to the Queensland election by putting Labor and the Greens LAST on our how-to-vote cards. It's what Queenslanders want - and we're not about to disappoint them. Labor has thrown a tantrum as a result of this wise decision. Meanwhile, Labor has again made a deal to preference the Greens. Go figure! It was great to have a chat with Paul Murray about the matter last night.

MEDIA RELEASE One Nation putting Labor and Greens last in Queensland One Nation’s how-to-vote cards will recommend that Queensland voters put Labor and the Greens dead last on their ballot papers for this month’s state election. Queensland party leader and candidate for Keppel, James Ashby, said Queensland could not afford another Labor government and another four years of regional neglect, rampant crime, and a runaway cost-of-living crisis. “Queensland can’t afford another Labor government, or worse, a minority Labor government that needs the Greens to hold power,” Mr Ashby said. “This is an important opportunity for regional communities to elect a party which cares about all of Queensland, not just the south-east corner. “We’ve all seen what a disaster Labor has been for regional Queensland. “Regional communities in Queensland continue to be neglected. Public health services in the regions are desperately lacking resources and skilled workers. Regional infrastructure across the state is in poor shape, especially the notorious Bruce Highway. Farmers and rural communities are under attack. Our fishers are being locked out from Queensland waters. “Labor is just giving away parts of the state to faceless Indigenous corporations without community consent. They’re allowing wind turbines and solar panels to creep across regional Queensland as they chase net-zero, driving up Queenslanders’ energy bills higher than ever before. “Steven Miles’ taxpayer-funded energy rebates and cheap bus fares might buy a few votes, but they won’t address the causes of Labor’s cost-of-living crisis. More Queensland families face homelessness, rental insecurity and mortgage stress. Insurance costs for homes and businesses are through the roof thanks to out-of-control crime under Labor. “There’s every reason to deny Labor another term in government, and there’s every reason to ensure the Greens have no power in Queensland. They have net-zero empathy for the people impacted by their disastrous policies. “One Nation understands that it’s Queensland voters who control and own their voting preferences, not political parties. It’s entirely up to voters where their preferences go, but One Nation’s how-to-vote cards will be recommending that every Queenslander put Labor and the Greens last on their ballot papers.”

CQ Today sought my thoughts on moving more of our bulk freight back onto rail. If we were smart, we'd have intermodal hubs dotted up along the east coast of Queensland that act as pivot points for our trucking industry to take freight to their final destination. Here's my response from this weeks paper.

Last night was the first of the Keppel election debates, yet despite Brittany and Nigel agreeing to be there - they pulled out. It was pleasing to see Roger McWhinney from Family First participate. Well done Roger, you're a real gentleman. Special thanks to Brett Bovey and all those involved for making such a huge effort to make last night's event take place. Let's see if the pair have the courage to turn up to Friday's debate at Town Hall in Yeppoon at 6pm.

If elected, I will never hold a 'welcome to country' like so many other politicians. I made the commitment tonight on Sky News - Credlin program. It's divisive and unnecessary - and let's face it, it's yours and my country too.

The LNP and Labor last year passed Treaty legislation here in Queensland. Now their misleadingly named “Truth-Telling and Healing” inquiry has kicked off. I'm warning Queenslanders that the outcomes of this inquiry is to provide a hefty compensation scheme for anyone who claims to be indigenous. It's called reparations. And who will pay for it? You will! Say “No” to Labor and the LNP plan for a divisive treaty! By voting for @OneNationAus in Queensland!
