@newnazarite Totally agree. But I also think that the people also need to be free to challenge their leaders with the same questions.... mutual accountability within the whole body, to my mind, is the key to healthy leadership and healthy followership.

We should as leaders challenge people who say “God told me..” ask how he did that. People remove themselves from accountability and the ability to challenge and question their actions. It’s also unhealthy. Sometimes thoughts are simply your thoughts. It can lead to mania.
