Today @EmoryUniversity WHSC leadership announced that Sept 1st I will become Chair of the @EmoryDeptofMed I am excited about this next stage and look forward to leading the department as the first graduate of the residency program, the first IMG and first Hispanic.

Honored to be named a 2024-26 cohort member of the New Voices in Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine at @theNASEM. Grateful for the opportunity to contribute and work alongside other emerging STEM leaders to address national and global challenges.
