This week the pay packets of the bosses of Shell & BP were both released.
They had doubled their pay packets to £10 million each.
But the Tories have everyone focused on refugees. A distraction tactic to allow profiteering & fat cat pay to continue.
It's the oldest trick in the book: When poverty is on the rise and the rich are getting richer, the powerful play divide and rule.
That's what the Tories' latest attack on refugees is all about.
I will vote against their cruel Anti-Refugee Bill.
139 teachers sadly lost their lives during the pandemic.
Teaching unions fought to keep teachers and pupils safe.
And now we see what this government thought of those efforts.
The horrific far-right riot in Knowsley is what happens when the government warns of an “invasion” & demonises refugees.
And it’s what happens when this rhetoric is not challenged for the vile hatred that it is.
My thoughts are with those terrified souls just trying to survive.
Conservatives took more than £800,000 from private health firms.
Firms don't donate, they invest and want a return.
That return is govt contracts, PPE scams, Test/Trace scams, private sectors directors on NHS boards, privatisation of the NHS and profits.

The Tories just blocked my Bill to extend free school meals to all primary school children.
But this isn't over.
I'll bring it back to Parliament – and when I do, I need even more MPs backing it. Ask your MP to back the Bill: actionnetwork.org/letters/tell-y…
How to destroy the NHS:
Step 1. Run it into the ground with austerity.
Step 2. Exploit the crisis to empower the private sector.
Step 3. Abolish the principle of universal health care.
End privatisation, support striking workers and save our NHS.
If the Retained EU Law Bill passes, on Jan 1st, 2024 we could lose:
🔹Holiday pay
🔹Agency worker rights
🔹Rights to maternity and parental leave
🔹Protection of part-time and fixed-term workers
🔹Protection from discrimination
and many more.
The time’s come to admit the NHS in England has ceased to function as a proper emergency service. That’s not because of strikes: it’s why there are strikes. It’s failed because of deliberate neglect by a government that has always wanted to privatise it to end free care for all.
10 years ago, the NHS was scored by experts to be the best health system in the world. Today, it ranks worst in Europe.
The Tories have intentionally driven the NHS to a position of crisis in order to promote private health care.
