@XFreeze How does solar generated electricity from a satellite in space travel from orbit to earth? As far as I’m aware there’s no power cord from orbit to the surface of the planet to transfer the electricity
ELON MUSK: "We see a path to putting 100 gigawatts per year of solar-powered AI satellite into orbit. And having this be actually the lowest cost way to power and operate AI at a very large scale
For reference, the United States consumes roughly 460 gigawatts on average per year. Because the average power load in the US is 460 gigawatts"
@DrElectronX@elonmusk@MarcusHouse How does Grok interface work, Who manufactures digital glasses you refer to? how much$?? talking with glasses..”zoom in on bird across lake” “adjust for optimal reading of book.”
Same customizable ideas for hearing aids (in ear) devices. I’d like to help.
@elonmusk@MarcusHouse Someone should connect camera glasses to vision enabled Grok with EarPods to help the blind. This could be done with just 2 days of programming (with GPT-4 today) and it could be helping people next week.
So, a tough personal thread to write here. 🥺 I haven't really gone into this publicly before, but I feel I need help. My eldest son Alex (14yo), has a rare eye condition in the CRB1 Retinal Dystrophy family. 😢
Essentially mostly blind in one eye, and almost legally blind in the other. Each day is a challenge, but it has never stopped his love of learning. He manages to keep up at a regular school even with the hardship. Although my wonderful wife and I have dealt well with this psychologically so far, the past few months I've been personally struggling. Due to its rarity, it is hard to find other parents in a similar situation, and I just feel like I'm maybe failing him in some of the areas he needs help.
Is there anyone out there that has a child with a similar CRB1 condition? Perhaps one that has a lot of expertise with this? I sure would love to get another perspective on how to help him cope with the new challenges that teens face. Even moreso when you can't see anyone's face, expressions etc.
Subjects that should be mandatory in schools:
- Taxes
- Coding
- Cooking
- Insurance
- Weightlifting
- Self-defense
- Survival skills
- Social etiquette
- Public speaking
- Personal finance
- Car maintenance
- Basic home repair
- Stress management
What would you add?
Road conditions are challenging at best. Please avoid any nonessential travel until conditions improve. Crews are focusing on priority snow routes only at this time. AVOID DRIVING RIGHT NOW.
@mariolopezviva Do you really think any of these areas would be any better with the other team in the lead? We are coming of a long pandemic, there will be costs. Greed and fear will not help seeing it thru. Protect the most vulnerable is my plea.
@teabagginsSr@TheExpanseWR Greed is definitely up there. About protecting what’s mine and acquiring More to insane levels. It influences heavily all human behavior. My point is even once you get past this “need” like with king Henry, the lust thing will f you.
@StellarXprience@teabagginsSr@TheExpanseWR S6 task of rapping up Expanse universe? Impossible to satisfy. Writer’s character development and realism about human nature, great. We will all miss show and wish our own specific loose ends would have resolved. In fact everyone just gets old and dies 🤔. Not exciting or sexy.
@teabagginsSr@TheExpanseWR “How women think”, got me thinking 🤔. Biggest weakness men have is “chasing pussy”. Women win/take down/mess up powerful, wealthy etc. Kings to Elon Musk, Expanse’s villain is acting out about “losing” Naomi. Men are weak, haha. Also S6 predominately emotional touchy-feely.
@DonaldJTrumpJr Maybe your connections who intercepted Biden’s voice mails could convince the Russian’s to release video of the arrest of women basketball player for pot! Sucks to be her, huh?
@AbrahamHanover Success story, anyone please! FBI prevent killing by following online chatter. Police arrive while kid torture pets. Right? Guess no one reports psych behavior or it’s ignored. This school and most prepare for shooting scenario w/o luck. Tres sad;(
America is currently wrestling with the difficult and controversial question of whether it’s worth it to make an effort to keep children alive, not to mention safe, educated, or healthy. The Onion looks at the pros and cons of just letting children die. bit.ly/38RpZqV
@tinkerbellxoxo_@TheOnion I live in the US, and I don’t worry about being shot. I have a greater chance of being killed in a car accident than being shot. Are we to ban cars too?
