@jamestodman Good afternoon James they look amazing, should I trim my box balls now or leave it until spring 😀??

@Darran_Jaques @The_RHS Wrote a blog post a while back with some advice. Might help - jamestodman.com/blog/five-ways… Good news is the gardeners manage them successfully in the gardens where I clip. The key is treating the Buxus at the right time.

@jamestodman @derriennebell @Matthew_Pottage No doubt but there appears to be no sign of trimming these.
My point was….is this a very narrow clone? If so, does it have a name?

Irish yew are rarely this narrow and if they are they are generally trimmed and tied up. No sign of either here.
So is this a particular narrow clone?
@Matthew_Pottage is a conifer fan and might know?

@jamestodman I'm not sure if that means similar to training the arms of a tree with bonsai, I have done that with wire? Or is that shaping trees with a small chain saw to a hedge?
English

@Sharon1111932 I don’t. I’m a topiarist by trade, mostly shaping plants.

@jamestodman Really nice Spoons James, the one on the left looks like a Sculpture,I'm an artist in Australia mainly printmaking and sculpture, do you do anything else? Because they look great.

@jamestodman Well done, keep up the good work. Caution: it is habit forming.

@jamestodman I love the one on the left. My hands aren’t what they were and it looks easy to hold… ❤️
English

@jamestodman They’re very inviting, I’d be tempted to bounce them

@CynthiaSReyes @NiwakiHQ All the Buxus you can see in this photo would take about 3 days to hand clip.
English

@CynthiaSReyes Just good old shears. This design was hand clipped with @NiwakiHQ Topiary Shears.
