Jeremiah Fears u17.5 PRA (-140 Fliff) #Pelicans The Pelicans are primarily healthy now. Zion and Trey Murphy are both in, and the team has recently started ushering in another incredibly high usage player in Dejounte Murray last month. In games with Murray, Fears is under in just 3/6 games, but one over was without Zion and the other without Murphy. In games with Murphy, Zion and Murray, Fears is under in 2/3 games. The over being the last game in a great matchup against the Wizards. However, not only was the matchup good, but Fears also played the entire 4th quarter of a blowout win for New Orleans, and still finished with just 22 minutes. In the previous 2 close games with all of Zion, Murphy, and Murray, he played just 15 and 19 minutes and was under easily. Tonight New Orleans is only a 2.5 point underdog in a matchup against the Raptors, so I don’t see a blowout as very likely at all. In a non blowout I have Fears slated for around 16-20 minutes, but let’s say he gets 22. In games with 22 or less minutes this year, Fears is under in 16/19 games this season. Fears also scores 27% of his points in transition, but that is not a good sign vs the Raptors, a team that ranks 2nd in the NBA in transition defense. 🚨 𝗠𝗟𝗕 𝗕𝗘𝗦𝗧 𝗕𝗘𝗧 𝗧𝗢𝗗𝗔𝗬 🚨 Teoscar Hernandez over 1.5 total bases 200+❤ for ANOTHER PLAY $50 to someome who 𝗟𝗜𝗞𝗘𝗦/Comments if we cash this play tonight! 💰 Posted hours early in Dubclub. Analysis ⬇️ Teoscar Hernandez faces off against David Peterson and the Mets here. This is a great spot for Hernandez to do damage at the plate. Peterson is a lefty, this is ideal as Teoscar has absolutely mashed left-handed pitching throughout his career. So far this season, he has an insane .409 BA, .864 SLG, and 1.286 OPS vs lefties in 45 plate appearances. That is significantly better than his .238 BA, .406 SLG, and .677 OPS vs righties. Those incredible numbers aren't going to be quite that high long term vs lefties, but the increased production isn't a fluke either. Teoscar had a .290 BA with in 2024 and .287 BA in 2023 vs lefties. In the last 3 years, he has a .304 BA vs lefties as opposed to a .254 BA vs righties. Notably 10 of his 18 hits vs lefites have been for extra bases this year, 21/45 hits vs lefties for extra bases last year. He is a slugger especially vs left-handed pitching, so we may only need 1 hit to cover this prop. Teoscar has also had success vs Peterson in his career, hitting 3/7 with a double and a HR. These two met in late May and Hernandez got a double off Peterson. This is great to see and Teoscar has absolutely crushed his primary pitch mix. Peterson 2 most used pitches are his 4 seam and sinker. Teoscar hits an elite .438 BA (.448 xBA) with a 53.3% hardhit% vs lefty 4 seam this season. He also hits for an crazy .667 BA in a small sample vs lefty sinkers. Since the beginning of last season, Teoscar has a .352 BA combined vs lefty 4 seam/sinkers. On top of having great success vs Peterson and his primary pitches, Hernandez has shown great advanced metrics. His .290 expected BA ranks in 88th percentile and he ranks in 90th percentile in launch angle sweet spot and 72nd percentile in barrel%. Peterson himself is in 15th percentile, allowing a 46.7% hardhit rate (highest of his career). He also gives up a .267 xBA which ranks in bottom 26th percentile. Nice hitting weather as well, mid 70° with 10 MPH winds blowing out. Great spot for Teoscar everything considered. Widely available on most DFS sites and sportsbooks.
