@edmunds_dr Did you attend the AQA webinar for the exam review of last summer. Was interesting to hear them openly say that they need to be better this summer. And the paper accessibility is their main focus. With a prediction grade bound will increase this summer

Strong words from the IoP about AQA A level physics. I agree with a lot of what they say - it’s not motivating for students to sit extremely difficult papers. I’ve had lots of good physicists drop physics due to this. I hope AQA change but we won’t be giving them another chance

@edmunds_dr Thank you for replying. From what I have seen for my research into OCR (as we’re adopting them for the BTEC lvl3 next year) OCR is you have seen “x” so what is a,b and c way more accessible than what the AQA paper are evolving into.

@jameswbryan We are likely going to change, both Edexcel & OCR have far more accessible questions it seems but I'm looking at Cambridge international A level (which will be of limited interest to most). Well balanced spec, papers that are reasonably written and **no required practicals**
