Had a great time racing at the Jersey Village Falcon Relays on Friday! I ran a PR in my first 800m of the season (2:21.22), and I’m excited to keep improving.

Our individual medalists this morning. Huge day for our program. - 1 team championship (varsity girls) - Varsity boys (4th), JV girls (5th) - 11 PR’s The Creek is Rising!

The Mayde Creek girls placed 3 in the top 15 this morning: 1st place - @JamieKlander 17:46.3 (PR, school record) 5th place - @AGonzalez2027 19:39.2 (4th consecutive top 10 finish) 14th place - Sophie Ilagan 20:43.2 (super freshman, boss of everyone)

Our Mayde Creek girls had a great team race today at Seven Lakes, finishing in 4th place! 💪 We were led by two top 10 finishers: - @jamieklander 🥇 - @avagonzalez 10th The rest of the pack wasn't far behind: - Sophia Ilagan (26th) - @DenisePerez_ (56th) - @m_contreras01 (68th)

First 5K of the season and the flu bug hit the boys team. Only had 3 on the line, but they ran strong: - Roy Sixtos (16:42) - @DwightBennett25 (16:55 and a PR) - Aden Chavez (17:31 and a PR) When we get the other two back you will see that #theCreekIsRising

First 5k of the 2024 XC season and @JamieKlander had a massive start to the season. - 1st place 🥇 with a time of 17:51.3 - PR and SCHOOL RECORD - 2nd fastest all-time girl on the Seven Lakes XC course Get ready. The Creek is Rising.

10:34.09!!!!! And 5th place in the 6A Texas Track and Field Championships. What a season for @JamieKlander. She came into the season with a PR of 11:31.81 and brings it down 57 seconds. Only a sophomore, she will be back! #TheCreekIsRising
