that's not to say we don't need legislative measures to help us manage our gun issues, i don't want this misrepresented. but a gun in the hand of a person who feels they have no other tools to navigate the world around is a dangerous thing whether it's a glock or an AR.

we will not be able to legislate our way through conflict resolution and togetherness, that has to come from the heart. i know this is inadequate in the face of our reality, but nevertheless i am sending my love to everyone.

i'm upset to be hearing about the multiple shootings that took place across District 3 last night. gun violence is preventable and the work to change our culture's obsession with shooting first starts with each of us.
