Letting employees clock off an hour early on a Friday ≠ flexibility Beanbags in the office ≠ a solid company culture Checking up on people every 5 minutes ≠ invested management Wake up, leaders. People want true freedom and autonomy — not ping-pong tables and gimmicks.

Some reassurance for anyone who needs it: Not all employers will force you to work from an in-office location. Not all employers will micromanage. If your expectations aren’t being met, you can and will find better elsewhere.
