I cant stand how Tifa haters act like she isn't mentally unwell herself. Like she doesnt have severe depression, survivors guilt, bottles things in, struggles with self image, isolates herself, etc. She has been through so much more than they're willing to admit- or willing to even read about/pay attention to. You can't treat Cloud with so much humanity and consideration but when it comes to the woman, you feel threatened by, you refuse to see her as a person. The situation with Clouds mental state is extremely complex, confusing and scary for everyone. NO ONE knows whats truly going on. If you see Cloud groaning, holding his head in pain, clearly seeing visions, in distress and you think "Now would be a great time to tell him everything he knows is a lie but I guess Tifa will keep manipulating him" youre genuinely just digging for reasons to denounce Tifa because you know there aren't any good ones. The creators did not make Tifa, beloved character of the franchise known for her consideration, kindness, strength and wonderful writing, a "Manipulative evil liar with ulterior motives". You people DEFINE media illiterate.
