Portishead Town are absolutely delighted to announce that Ollie Woodhouse has committed to the club ahead of the 2026/27 season.
The classy defender rejoined Posset for his secord spell with the club in August last year, signing from Taunton Town. Ollie went on to make 44 appearances last term, anchoring a defence that kept 21 clean sheets.
An absolute Rolls-Royce of a defender, retaining his services is a massive boost for the campaign ahead.
Thank you to the Harrington family, who will be sponsoring Ollie for the upcoming season!

@coryscoys @ConLJohnston Good job he didn’t lightly pull his hair - would have been straight down the tunnel for that
English

@ConLJohnston I’m sorry. But I am sick of these decisions. How the fuck is that any different from Xavi on VVD earlier in season? Officiating in this league is a complete shitshow. But I genuinely believe teams get reffed different, players too. Hate the game now.

Portishead Town are over the moon to announce that striker @EthanFeltham has committed to remain with the club for the 2026/27 season.
Ethan struck a hat-trick on his posset debut against Odd Down back at the start of the 2023/24 season, and he has never looked back. He went on to hit a record breaking 55 goals in that first season and now sits on an incredible 107 goals in 122 appearances.
Joint top scorer again this season, with 21, Ethan has been an essential part of the unprecedented success that Posset has enjoyed.
Portishead through and through, Ethan’s tenacious spirit, pace and power have always made him a fan favourite and the posset army will be delighted to have our number 9 back in the squad for the new season.

Portishead Town can confirm that Eamonn Daly has stepped down from his first-team coaching duties to focus entirely on his role as Head of Senior Football.
Eamonn joined the club as manager ahead of the 2018/19 season. His initial mission was to build a strong foundation for a team that had consistently struggled near the bottom of the table. Implementing a clear strategic plan, Eamonn focused on recruiting dedicated young players with excellent fundamental qualities. He championed a clear pathway from the junior ranks to the senior squad, setting high standards and expectations across the club-a challenge made even more difficult during the pandemic-interrupted seasons.
At the end of the 2022/23 campaign, with those foundations firmly in place, Eamonn handed the managerial reins to Kye Mountford—a player he had originally brought to Posset. Eamonn then joined Kye's coaching staff, playing an integral role in the unprecedented period of success that followed. Alongside coaching, he accepted the position of Head of Senior Football, which will now become his sole focus.
In this role, Eamonn will oversee the development pathways, culture, and philosophy for both our high-performance and social grassroots teams, ensuring a welcoming environment for all players in our community. He will also remain a vital resource for Kye and his management team, sharing his extensive skills and knowledge across the club.
Director of Football, James Hughes, commented:
"Eamonn, as a club we will be forever grateful to you for taking on the difficult task of laying the foundations to allow the rebuild of the first-team squad. When others walked away, you took the bull by the horns and did the hard yards. You made tough decisions, gave everything to the role, and passed on the baton when you saw how the next level could be achieved. Whilst you aren't leaving us, everyone at Portishead Town is incredibly grateful for what you have done, and what you will continue to do."

Could the night get any better? Jamie Adams has committed to Posset for the 2026/27 season.
Vice-captain Adams arrived ahead of the 2025/26 season and has consistently shown his quality, versatility, and experience. Jads was an ever-present figure last season, featuring in all 50 matches to help secure the highest league finish in the club’s history.
Jamie had this to say “…I still strongly believe in what this club is capable of achieving. There's a real foundation here - not just with the squad and staff, but with the supporters as well.”

🚨 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝘀!
We are thrilled to announce that captain Kyle Egan has committed to remain with the club for the 2026/27 season.
Since joining Posset at the start of the 2023/24 season, Kyle has been an instrumental component of the Portishead side that secured back-to-back promotions. A true leader, his performance in taking step 4 by storm last season proved why he is a class act, on and off the pitch.
Posset supporter will be eager to watch the skipper add to his impressive tally of 123 appearances and 48 goals for Portishead.
