. @marksandspencer The packaging of M&S Easter Bunny Bar is misleading. On the front it says "made without Dairy".
Ingredients, on the back, include "Butter (22%). Butter is made from milk, so dairy. A problem for milk & lactose allergies.
Today’s Poll: If a couple had two adult children - one financially very successful and one struggling - should their Will leave their estate 50-50, or divide it more based on need?
Which comes CLOSEST to your view in this hypothetical?
Today's Poll: Do you believe there is sentient alien life on other planets. If so do you believe it has ever come to the earth (on the back of President Obama's comments the other week). Which of these is closest to your view...
@ZiaYusufUK How will it ensure that messages with medical or financial information remain private?
How will staff at the messaging apps providers be vetted for honesty?
What will be the penalty for staff that pass on information improperly?
🚨 Starmer is now coming after your end-to-end encrypted messaging apps like Whatsapp and iMessage.
Things you say in your private conversations are about to become fair game for the government to arrest you over.
It’s coming “within months”.
Section 121 of the Orwellian "Online Safety Act' that the Tories passed hands Ofcom the powers to compel any messaging platform to do 'client-side scanning' - meaning the tech firm must use "accredited technology" to scan your messages for content the government deems “harmful”.
To start with it's child abuse and terrorism (of course - who could argue with that?), but make no mistake, before you know it all the things the police use as an excuse to turn up at people's doors for things they say on public platforms will be used to persecute citizens for things they say in private.
ALL your messages will be scanned in real time as you send them.
Not just suspicious ones, or flagged ones.
Starmer is turning your phone into a real-time government informant.
The government has been working to make encryption irrelevant for years, it's why Apple withdrew their Advanced Data Protection service from the UK - because they refused government demands
This is unprecedented territory for this country.
Lord Hanson of Flint - who is leading this awful mission - has "set a date of April 2026" for Ofcom to enforce these powers.
The era of private messages being private is about to come to an end.
Reform will repeal this dystopian surveillance Act.
My op ed in the Telegraph 👇
Trump is trying to bleed Britain dry.
The NHS and BBC are both under attack from the White House.
They want billions to line their own pockets at the British tax payers expense.
This is unacceptable.
We need to sign a Customs Union with Europe and stand up to this attack.
Too often good dancers are in the #Strictly dance off. I think because lots of the public vote for their favourite celebrity, not for who they think is a good dancer.
