There is new momentum to integrating Indigenous peoples in trade while learning from them in particular as regards sustainable production processes, and while protecting traditional knowledge. No 'fly in/fly out' relationships--this issues will need long term efforts!

Canada has included its first Indigenous chapter in a trade agreement in the modernised Canada-Ukraine bilateral trade agreement which is being finalised. And of course IPETCA is open to additional economies who would like to join. 5/6
