There’s nothing quite like being handed a hard copy of the latest STD guidelines by the first author and worldwide expert in STDs herself, Dr. Kimberly Workowski 🧫🧬🦠🤩

@Strongylady@TempleIM@DarilynMoyer Had some incredible role models, aka program director and upper year, to inspire me! I may not have pursued ID if it weren’t for you both 💪🏼
We are shaken by the violence in our city that has left 8 ppl dead, including members of the Asian American community. We are gathering info about what happened & the needs of directly impacted are. Now is the time to hold the victims & their families in our hearts & with light
@DavidHollandMD@EmoryInfectDis Today was hands down one of the coolest days of my life. And so honored to be vaccinated by the one and only @DavidHollandMD 💉🦠 Proud to be part of the Fulton County response!
@SamInSilico@colleenkraftmd@jaybvarkey@Boghuma I’ve heard recently that the CORE and Fulton Co Board of Health testing sites are having about 24-48h turnaround for PCR, but I agree that peachtree and cvs probably quickest.
Anyone know where someone can go to get a rapid antigen test in Atlanta? Asking on behalf of a friend with new very mild fatigue who is supposed to go see family this weekend, and don't think pcr would be back fast enough. @colleenkraftmd@jaybvarkey@Boghuma@janecyoon
@FranciscoMarty_@DocWoc71@RazonableMD@PergamIC The patient had relapsed T-cell lymphoma and was on an EZH1/2 inhibitor trial drug. CMV PCRs were in the 200s-300s for several weeks. Retinitis had improved and most recently quiescent.
@DocWoc71@RazonableMD@PergamIC@janecyoon What type of patient? HCT, SOT, HIV, other?
What do you mean by low level viremia?
How severe was the retinitis? Is the retinitis stable or quiescent?
Proud to be affiliated with people who spend their days brainstorming how to do the right thing for health, justice, and love. #ATLstrong#BlackLivesMattter#COVID19
