Theo & Dottie we’re first to warm their old bones 🔥 We cannot believe the generosity of these amazing companies who are also donating two more high-end stoves for the dogs’ log cabin as well 😲🥳 Together with the fitting costs the value of these donations will be around £15,000!!! We have never been able to afford high end goods but you sure can see the quality when you light the stove. Beautifully made and incredibly efficient. Huge thanks to Chris from Sherwood Outdoor Living for the expert fitting, donating his time to fit all 3 for free! And also to friend of the rescue Andrew from @Signature_CM for the introduction and making all this happen for us. We weren’t expecting any of this and it has been the most wonderful surprise. Please help us thank @HFSLtd who donated ALL of the flooring AND ALL of the wall panels for the WHOLE of the dogs’ log cabin at Rescue World. It’s a massive building and this is thousands and thousands of pounds of high quality materials!!! We only had to contribute towards the fitting which has been first class. This is the kind of materials and finish we could only previously have dreamed of. It is so easy to clean and the seal means no water (or pee) can get under the floor and create bad smells. The panels prevent any naughty nibbling and wipe down so easily. Where the offcuts weren’t quite big enough they have patched another piece in - to us these areas are even more special as it reminds us that the whole lot cabin is a ‘patchwork of love’. Thank you Hygienic Finishing Solutions for being a company that cares and doing so much to help the rescue dogs. We hope anyone looking for high end bathroom or kitchen tiles will take a look at their website, they are based in Cheshire 💜 #companiesthatcare

This brought tears to our eyes. Last month we were featured in The People's Friend and as a result received a cash donation in the post. “Hi! Hope the enclosed helps a little for your lovely dogs. Sorry it couldn’t be more. Read about you in People’s Friend. From a pensioner. You need it more than me” It is genuinely humbling to receive donations like this. We started with nothing and for years had to make every pound donated go as far as it possibly could for the dogs. That now runs through our values and is still our ethos today. We don’t have any fat cat CEO salaries, we still watch the pennies on every front and we never forget that sometimes people send all of their spare cash or go without to help our dogs. Heartfelt thanks to this anonymous pensioner 💜
